Foxtrot Charlie's Newest Release: Tag along on a flight I took during EAA week in July 2025, on one of the most iconic WWII War Birds ... the B-25 "Berlin Express". This 83 year old aircraft is in first rate condition and still flies beautifully. I've flown in many antique aircraft including the Ford Trimotor, a Junker Ju-52, a DC6 and a few biplanes, but this experience was the best. We could "crawl" around the aircraft at will during the flight ... to both the nose and rear gunner positions ... and experience what it was like to sit in each position, under actual flight conditions ... both awesome and frightening, considering the combat conditions these planes flew under during their day. Foxtrot Charlie's August Release: This is my first attempt at aerobatics in my 40+ years of flying the many versions of MSFS. I was inspired by my visit to EAA 2025, where I witnessed an impressive array of Aerobat's flying jets, planes and even a helicopter. I've attended EAA for decades and have seen it all before ... but this year's performances were inspirational!.

Foxtrot Charlie's First Official Release: This is my first attempt filming a video using MSFS2020. My earlier attempt using FSX (also available on this channel) was less than stellar, flawed and truly lacked the visual quality of today's MSFS 2024. As indicated by the title, this video features a Cirrus SR-22 flying from Edinburgh Scotland to Southampton England in June 2025. Like it's predecessor, this attempt is flawed, but looks far better in picture quality.

This is actually Foxtrot Charlie's first attempt filming Flight Simulator X, which was the best we had before MSFS 2020. I produced this in 2019, though I never released it as it was just a vehicle for me to learn how to use iMovie, plus contains flaws. Created with an iMovie Template, complete with the soundtrack, I simply added shots from FSX flights and created the "story" of a C-172 in a perilous position and condition. So, this video is a "Movie Trailer" for an imaginary movie that doesn't exist. The one reason to display this video is to illustrate the leaps and bounds made in picture quality with the introduction of the new version MSFS 2020.

About "Foxtrot Charlie"

As a 40+ year veteran of nearly every version of Microsoft Flight Simulator, I have spent thousands of hours flying in its virtual air space ... from the early Sub Logic "stick figured" version on a Commodor 64, through green screen versions on IBM PCs, to color versions on Windows 3 RBG screens, and progressing through the turn of the century with FS95, FS98, FS2000 and 2004, all the way to FSX in 2006. Each version presented drastic imporvements during this 20+ year evolution. But then things stopped and I spent the next 14 years flying the FSX version, before finaly landing on today's HD/4k versions of MSFS 2020/2024. However, it was worth the wait. It's been quite a journey virtually traveling the world and now in my senior years, I still look forward and enjoy flyng a few times each week. I've hopped accross the Pacific to Australia, and across the North Atlantic to Europe, I've passed over both Poles, flown the entire Amazon River, and extensively toured the skies of Europe, Canada, Scandenavia and the US, in dozens of different aircraft. I guess you could say I'm a fan ... or perhaps ... a fanatic. .

As a Model Railroad hobbiest for the past two decades, I've produced over 25 YouTube videos featuring my N scale train layout at @RadioTrains. Having run out of "material" about the layout, I've switched "rails for air" to create new virtual avaition videos using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. We're number for takeoff, so buckle your seatbelts, sit back and enjoy the flights as we liftoff!
